Album DescriptionCurrent Biography • Liner Notes

Bulldozer-hardcore and metal styled riffing. Aggressive and hard shit that leaves their previous releases far behind.

Bullish blink-and-you’ll-miss-it speedcore from Sweden.
THESE SWEDISH agro pups don’t just raise their fists, they shake them squarely in your face, then dole out kidney jabs for good measure. For this is fast ‘n’ furious hardcore that leaves Burning Heart’s lighter acts quivering like jellies.
Naturally, the sentiments are very honourable, covering the usual respect and equality agendas, but when Alexander ‘Alle’ Rajkovic barks his bugbears and the rest of the band follow with their chop-heavy take on the early East Coast sound, they take no prisoners whatsoever. A modicum of restraint is introduced for the rolling chat-along that is ‘Breaking Me Up’, but underneath it still ripples with latent fury. Punchy. Very punchy.

METAL HAMMER 9/10

'IGNORING The Guidelines' sets its own agenda from the first chord. This is a full-tilt sonic blast, delivering a powerfully convincing left hook to anyone who still hasn't woken up to the fact that there's some great hardcore coming out of Sweden these days. Although raised on late '80s US posicore, Raised Fist have also incorporated a harder metal edge into their sound, combined with an aggressive vocal force that makes you sit up and take notice immediately. A 'rebirth of hardcore pride' indeed.
